Here are the Juneteenth celebrations in Minnesota that we are aware of. Most are virtual events in observance of social distancing guidelines in the age of COVID-19 but a handful are not. In the events that are not, follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask.

Social Justice Rally: June 19th 5:00 PM, Brooklyn Park City Hall, 5200 85th Ave. North, Brooklyn Park MN

Ashes to Beauty Block Party: June 19th 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Kelley Park, 6855 Fortino St. Apple Valley MN
This party will feature speakers, performances, black retail and food vendors along with music and kid activities.
Caravan Parade: June 20th 11:00 AM, UROC parking lot in your vehicles, 2001 Plymouth Ave. North in Minneapolis MN
Decorate your vehicles and bring the family out. The route will be East on Plymouth Ave N, right on West Lyndale Ave N, right on Olson Memorial Hwy, turn left on N Bryant Ave, right on Penn Ave, right on Plymouth Ave and it will end back on the UROC parking lot for a community prayer.

Black Broadway: June 20th 1:00 – 5:00 PM Cub Food parking lot, 701 W Broadway Ave, Minneapolis MN

Blackout Bike Ride: June 20th 4:00 – 5:15 PM, starting at the UROC, 2001 Plymouth Ave. North in Minneapolis MN
The bike ride will start at the UROC and stop for rests at the Walker Art Center and the George Floyd Memorial at 38th and Chicago before circling back to the UROC. Please being water, snacks and your mask. If you need a bike or have accessibility needs email [email protected]
