BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Brooklyn Park Mayor Lisa Jacobson took the oath of office on Monday, August 30,2021 at city hall. She won the August 10, 2021 special election when she received 3,416 votes to her opponent Hollies Winston’s 3,414. Her win was confirmed after a recount and the city council certified the results on August 23, 2021.
