Councilman Abdi Warsame

Councilman Abdi Warsame is the first Somali to win a municipal election in the United States. He represents Ward 6 in the City of Minneapolis which includes Stevens Square, Cedar Riverside, Elliot Park, Seward, Ventura Village and Phillips West.
