African Career Education and Resource (ACER) will be hosting a Voting Community Meeting featuring:

Steve Simon, Secretary of State: Knowing your rights, secure/fair elections, voting access

Devin Montero, Brooklyn Park City Clerk: Voting in Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Park Mayoral Election

Paul Huffman, League of Women Voters of Minnesota: Redistricting

Our panelists will focus on the following topics: knowing your voting rights, secure elections, ballot access, voting in Brooklyn Park, and redistricting. This event will be hosted via Zoom in webinar format. Attendees are welcome to put questions in the chat box and we will answer them at the end of the meeting. With the Brooklyn Park Mayoral Election coming up on August 10, it’s important to get involved with GOTV and ask questions about voting in Minnesota.
